Here’s a paraphrase of three of my favorites out of six from their list:
1. Make sure you both know where the relationship is headed. Do you know where you plan to be in 5 – 10 years? It may not make sense to stay if he/she plans on staying in Arusha while you plan to stay in Dar es salaam.
2. Compromise -There needs to be a balance in every relationship. Be flexible, whether it’s who visits whom every month, or where you both will vacation.
3. Keep it spicy- Always talking on the phone? E-mail? Why not use your webcam, or sext every now and then.
